Universally applicable to wishbone and independent, multi-link suspension systems as found in vehicles from VW-Audi, Seat, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Ford and in many more. Essential tool for use on the rear axle of Audi vehicles. For example: Audi A4 B8 (8K), A5 (8T), A6 (C7 / 4G), A7 (C7 / 4G), Q5 (8R). The internal coil spring compressor allows you to quickly and safely remove and install coil springs on wishbone and independent, multi-link suspensions in situ on the vehicle. Thanks to the particularly compact design, the compressor base body can be easily inserted into the spring from below, through the wishbone - even with VAG vehicles having a very small lower wishbone access hole (of approx. 34mm Ø). As a result, the loosening of axle components and follow-up wheel alignments are no longer necessary. Sturdy and robust design ensures a high level of operational safety. The unique 3-point safety interlock mechanism and the special anti-rotation profile prevent the pressure plates from twisting during the compression process and, thus, the coil spring from coming loose and falling off the spring compressor. Simple and safe mounting of the spring compressor - no need for additional locking, awkward or cumbersome installation work is avoided! Another special feature of the pressure plates are the anti-slip protective inserts which prevent the spring from unwinding itself out of the spring compressor and also avoid damage to the sensitive coating of the spring.
