THE COMPANY GUARANTEED: MADE IN GERMANY When Swabian inventor and engineer Erwin Halder began production of the SIMPLEX soft-face mallets in his small workshop in 1938, he couldn’t have imagined that his company would one day employ more than 200 people, operating worldwide in four product areas. Alongside soft-face mallets and forestry tools, HALDER also produces and markets high-precision standard parts, workholding systems, and aviation products. What hasn’t changed is its location in AchstettenBronnen in southern Germany. The small workshop has grown into an impressive company setting, with office and production buildings that are subject to continued expansion and modernisation. The company remains family-owned and is now run by third generation by Stefan Halder.
