Engine Injection System, PSA KL-1383-11 KA KL-1383-11 KA Injector Nozzle Puller Set, PSA 2.0 HDi + 2.2 HDi Applicable to PSA 2.0 (110bhp, 135bhp) [DW10] and 2.2 [DW12] HDI TwinCam engines as found in Citroën, Ford, Fiat, Jaguar, Lancia, Peugeot, Suzuki, Volvo etc. This really useful tool set allows for the professional removal of very tight-fitting/ stuck injector nozzles, without the need for dismounting the cylinder head. The KL-1383-11 KA injector nozzle puller set is designed for the accurate extraction of very tight-fitting injector nozzles, as well as for the cleaning of the injector nozzle bore and seal seat. The removal of the cylinder head is not necessary. The extraction bridge is specifically designed for the above mentioned vehicles in order to ensure safe and accurate support of the puller tools, even if injectors are stuck or seized in place. The special pull spindle with additional union nut (to be used on DW10 engines) will facilitate the extraction of even the most stubborn injectors. The injector nozzle needs to be opened for this. (engines: DW10) Note: Be sure to read and observe the injector nozzle manufacturer’s directions and specifications before attempting to re-install an injector nozzle that had been opened. If necessary, have the injector nozzle tested and checked by an authorized workshop. Procedure for Injector Nozzle Removal: Unscrew injector nozzle head by means of the special socket included in the set. (DW10): Screw pull spindle into injector, and, if using the pull spindle with union nut, additionally screw union nut onto injector nozzle. Place pre-assembled base tool onto cylinder head and screw on shoulder nut. Extract injector nozzle by evenly turning shoulder nut. Inject compressed air into the combustion chamber in order to prevent impurities from entering the latter.
