KL-0112-21 B Brake Piston Push-Back/Wind-Back Kit, KL-0112-21 B with 10 Adaptors, Storage Case Applicable to: Audi, BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Škoda, Subaru, Toyota, VW, etc. Designed to reset (wind back or push back depending on application) brake pistons in floating callipers, both with or without mechanical parking brake mechanism. Can be used on right-hand threads as well as on left-hand threads. The piston is wound back via the hexagon on the pressure piece. The universal brake piston push-back/wind-back kit KL-0112-21 B stands out for the following features: Its spindle with handy toggle and a built-in thrust bearing for secure retention of the adaptors. The spindle enables the controlled reset of the brake piston and correct guidance of the adaptor thanks to the handy toggle. The thrust bearing ensures that the adaptors are securely held in the tool and, thus, professional reset of the brake piston without any risk of damage. The base tool is only intended to position and fix the adaptor during the winding-back process. The reset takes place via the hexagon on the respective adaptor. This technique eliminates the risk of damaging the bake piston spindle and prevents the reset tool from jamming which could be caused by different spindle pitches in the tool and calliper. Universally applicable to brake systems that need to be reset mechanically. (A tool for all kinds of brake-resetting techniques) Resetting brake pistons --- with left-hand thread --- with right-hand thread --- if the piston should not be rotated during the reset process. The adaptors are specifically designed for the respective brake piston application (in profile and outer Ø). This prevents damage to the piston and junk ring while resetting the brake piston. Possibility to update this tool set with additional and specifically designed adaptors for the latest vehicles and braking systems.
