HAILO Bodentore sind mit Öffnungshilfen, Aufhaltevorrichtungen und Sicherheitsbügeln versehen. Standardmodelle sind mit Gasdruckfedern und integrierter Sicherheits-Aufhaltevorrichtung ausgestattet. Schwere HAILO Bodentore werden per Hydraulikzylinder und unterstützenden Gasdruckfedern bedient. Edelstahlkonstruktionen, mit unterschiedlichsten Profilverstärkungen auf der Unterseite gewährleisten höchste Sicherheit. Oft werden befahrbare Bodentore auch mit dem Belag der umgebenden Straße (Bitumen, Pflastersteine, Keramikplatten) beschichtet. Sie sind normalerweise für Fahrzeuge bis 15 t Gesamtgewicht ausgelegt. Aber auch Bodentore für Belastungen bis 25 t oder 40 t werden von HAILO entwickelt. Load-carrying floor gates are often coated with the same surface as the surrounding area (asphalt, paving stones, tiles). They are normally designed for vehicles with a total weight of up to 15 t, although HAILO also designs floor gates for loads of up to 25 t or 40 t.
