EISEN IS OUR DNA. 1910 als Westfälische Stollen- und Schraubenfabrik Breckerfeld gegründet, wird das Unternehmen ein Jahr später zunächst unter dem Signet WSB im Kaiserlichen Handelsregister eintragen — als Hersteller von Eisenwaren für den täglichen Bedarf der Landbevölkerung. Mit fortschreitender Industrialisierung wurde in den 1930-er Jahren ein neuer Produktionszweig von eisernen Gebrauchsgegenständen aufgegriffen. Es wurden erste Schraubenschlüssel unter neuem Namen Westfälische Gesenkschmiede Breckerfeld (WGB) gefertigt. 30 Jahre später entwickelten wir auf Basis unser langjährigen Schmiedeerfahrung und unter Einsatz moderner Technik den Standard des bis heute gültigen Schraubenschlüsselmodells. Seit 1989 sind wir als WGB Familienmitglied in der „VONZITZEWITZ-Gruppe“ zusammen mit unserem Schwesterunternehmen Carl Walter, welches seinen Stamm- und Fertigungssitz in Wuppertal hat. Damit sind wir von Tag eins bis heute „Mittelstand in Familienhand“!
