The alarm system installer connects the alarm box via cable to the safe to the existing alarm system. ! Extra securit y How does silent alarm work? With the alarm box, you get an additional alarm code in case of emergency. This code is identical to the normal user code. Only the last digit is increased by one (e.g. user code: 123456, alarm code: 123457). The safe can be opened normally with the alarm code. However, the desired silent alarm is triggered at the same time by doing so. Where is the alarm box installed? The alarm box is located inside the safe door near the lock. It is therefore invisible, even to burglars. How big is the alarm box? The alarm box measures 82 x 101 x 24 mm (B x W x D). Since it is positioned within the safe door, the space in the safe is not reduced. Does the alarm box need its own power supply? No, the alarm box does not require a separate power supply. The alarm box is supplied with power via the batteries in lock electronics (keypad). Is the alarm box connected to the alarm system? When ordering a new safe with alarm box, the necessary hole in the door rebate is made in the factory. Everything is therefore prepared for connection to the alarm system when the safe is delivered. The alarm system installer connects the box to the alarm system control centre via “alarm cable”. Tip: For models in the Office-Line series and the Ranger 800/8 gun cabinet, we recommend ordering the safe with drill holes in the back wall.
