From ash wood, high quality and common, to beech wood, cheaper but perfect as a tool handle. For the heavier work, like hammers, we use hickory, a very strong, springy wood type. Our Polet Traditional series also contains a number of shovels, spades, and hoes made using this type of wood. HANDLES AND ACCESSORIES Professional tools increasingly use fibreglass handles. They consist of millions of super fine glass fibres merged into a super strong handle using epoxy resin. We also have the necessary accessories to store your tools away, or provide them with a replacement handle.
