BASIC INFO TAPES CLOTH CARRIER The carrier of these tapes is made of cloth LOW NOISE / NO NOISE This tape makes no or low noise during unwinding. HORIZONTAL DOUBLE SIDE TAPE This double sided tape is mainly used on horizontal surfaces, like carpet fixing. VERTICAL DOUBLE SIDE TAPE This double sided tape is used mainly on vertical surfaces, like to fix mirrors, hooks, etc.. ADHESION Symbolizes the adhesion of the adhesive tape. The more bars, the better adhesion of the tape. This comparison is only possible between the same product groups (for example: crepe masking tape, cloth tape, protection tapes, ...) 1 PERIOD OF APPLICATION This pictogram shows the period of application. The number indicates the days, the tape has to be removed within this period of time. In this example, it has to be removed within one day. TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE The number on this pictogram means the maximum application temperature. 30 DAYS 14 DAYS PERIOD OF APPLICATION: INDOOR This pictogram shows the period of indoor application. The number indicates the days, the tape has to be removed within this period of time. In this example, it has to be removed within 30 days. PERIOD OF APPLICATION: OUTDOOR This pictogram shows the period of outdoor application. The number indicates the days, the tape has to be removed within this period of time. In this example, it has to be removed within 14 days. This symbol implicates also the UV- and weather resistance of the tape. DURABILITY This pictogram shows the average durability under normal weather conditions. STRETCH This pictogram indicates the elongation of the product. VDE This pictogram shows that this product is tested according to the VDE on the basis of relevant EU directives, laws, standards and special regulations.
