Removing and Installing Gearbox Motorstütztraverse Engine support bar ▪ Variable length from 630 to 960 mm It is not possible to use typical engine bridges on many new vehicles, as the mudguards fall away at a slant or are made of plastic. The universal engine support bar provides the engine with secure support from below. Part no. 26596L Motorstütztraverse Engine support crossmember The universal engine support tie-bar securely holds the engine from below as soon as the side engine bearings are dismantled. The usual engine bridge is no longer required. When working on the toothed belt, water pump or auxiliary drive, a free access from above is now possible. ▪ the two adjustable mounting hooks securely hold the motor support beam at the vehicle floor. ▪ height-adjustable support plate for targeted lowering or lifting of the motor. ▪ the rear support arms can be positioned independently of each other by means of a hinge.
