Here, the belt is tensioned via the spring-loaded generator. With the aid of this key, the generator can be turned accordingly to slacken the belt, e.g. during replacement work. The 12,5 mm (1/2") drive is attached in a star shape and thus allows the tool to be inserted in different ways depending on the space available. The pins are knurled, reducing the risk of the key slipping out of the generator. Used as OE no VAG 3297 and Seat U-40050.
