EN 343 The standard defines the definition of rules related to materials and seams in protective clothing. This standard allows effective prevention of rainfall (e.g. rain, snow), fog and moisture of the ground. Performance requirements: Resistance to water penetration (WP) in Pascal (Pa). When tested in accordance with paragraph EN 343, resistance to permeation of the external water material along with all watertight layers should be in accordance with the table below (divided into three classes – 1 to 3, – from the least to the most water-permeable).
