COATED FIBER DISCS FIBER DISCS COATED ABRASIVE DISCS The most heavy-duty of coated abrasive discs, Fiber Discs are designed for a variety of applications ranging from heavy stock removal to surface blending and finishing. They are used with rubber or high-strength plastic back-up pads on pneumatic or electric portable angle grinders. Common applications include stock removal, edge chamfering, weld blending, deburring, rust removal, cleaning and finishing of stainless steel and high nickel alloys, mild carbon steel, ferrous and non ferrous metals. Fiber discs are available in 4-1/2", 5", 7" and 9" diameters in the most common grit sizes ranging from 36 grit to 80 grit.
