PTO Safety guards PTO 21 - Safety guard for big dimension lathe Sliding shield for big sized lathes, designed to be fixed on the machine head, making the whole structure of the guard stable. It is protecting the operator against direct frontal contact with rotating components of the chuck and against splashes of lubricants and coolants, as well as against shavings. The main feature of this safety guard is the sliding shield, which is located in a solid and light aluminium structure with four attachment points at the machine head, allowing to hold the shield in an overhanging position. The sliding shield has a wide visual, manufactured of a material, especially suitable to be used for safety guards. This safety guard is available in different sizes, up to a chuck diameter of 800-1200 mm. It comes with a safety microswitch.
