KWS Modular System Mounting instruction Modular pull stainless steel (Series RS, WS, WS2, WS4) • Cut the stainless steel tube to lenght (see page 63) • stuck together the tube and modular support • By tightening the clamping screw the tube supports are fixed together Modular pull with timber handle (Series RS, WS, WS2, WS4) • Cut the timber to lenght (see page 63) • Pre-drill timber finishes centrally for M8 threaded insert • Screw in the threaded insert • Screw the timber and modular support with M8 together Modular pull stainless steel (Series KS-30) • Cut the stainless steel tube 30x30x2 to lenght (see page 63) • Stick KWS clamping element in to the tube and secure it by tighten the clamping screw • Stick KWS clamping element from the buttom in to the tube by tighten the inner threaded pin Mid point support • Please mount the mid-point support first at door handles with mid-point support Recommended maximum dimension L without mid-point support (depending on the door weight and area of application) Stainless steel round tube Stainless steel square tube Timber • Ø30 x 1,5: L = 1800 • 30 x 30 x 2: L = 2200 • Ø35: L = 1400 • Ø35 x 1,5: L = 2200 • Ø40: L = 1600 • Ø35 with reinforcement: L = 2500 • Ø40 x 2,0: L = 2400 62 TEK_0308/06.2017
