Checking the oil level: • Place the jack upright while it is lowered and open the valve by turning it no more than three times anticlockwise. The oil level must reach the opening. Add high-quality hydraulic oil if necessary. Never use brake fluid or motor oil. 4. Before use Raising the load: • Close the valve by turning it clockwise until it stops. Use the lever supplied. • Attaching the lever • Secure the vehicle with chocks and engage the hand brake to prevent the vehicle from moving. Use the lever to bring the jack to the desired position. • Use the lever to pump the load to the desired height. The position of the jack can be adjusted as desired by unscrewing the spindle screw. • Immediately secure the load with supports (e.g. ViGOR jack stands V 2477) after raising the load. Lowering the load: • Raise the load in order to carefully remove the supports. • Then open the valve by turning the lever anticlockwise until the load lowers. Ensure that the valve is opened slowly to prevent the load from lowering in jerky movements. If the load cannot be lowered, use another jack to lower the load and then have the function of the first jack inspected by a specialist. • Once the load has been lowered, close the valve by turning the lever clockwise. • Keep these operating instructions. For your own safety, read and follow these instructions. The owner and user should have current information about the jack at all times for the safe use of this product. Instructions and safety information must be made available to the user in his or her native language before this product is used. Ensure that the user is aware of the risks associated with the use of this product. • If there is any suspicion that the user does not know all of the required safety information, the safety and operating instructions for this product must be provided to the user in his or her own language. • Do not move the jack under load. • Only use the jack for vehicles as stipulated by the vehicle manufacturer. • Opening and closing the valve too quickly may result in dangerous jerky movements. • Overload may cause damage to the hydraulic system as well as personal injury. 14
