About us Tools for surface finishing Our expertise lies in the production of tools for mechanical surface finishing. Wherever the task at hand is roughing, cutting, deburring, rust removal, paint stripping, dust removal, brushing, cleaning or polishing, customers in the industry, wholesale or trade are using our tools. The majority are used in the metalworking industry, but wooden, stone and synthetic surfaces can also be treated. Our core products are technical brushes, polishing tools, liquid and solid polishing compounds, and cutting, grinding and sanding discs. In addition to the classic cleaning of surfaces, technical brushes in particular can be used for sealing and insulation, and so make an important contribution towards energy savings in production processes and at manufacturing facilities. We supply to customers in over 120 countries, have production facilities and sales organisations in 13 countries, and employ a workforce of around 1,250 worldwide. Three of our plants are in Germany, including the European head office in Burgwald. In addition to the production of technical brushes and large roller brushes for the steel industry, the focus lies mainly in developing innovative products and opening up new markets. In Burgwald is one of the two high-tech company labs, where the quality and reliability of our own products are monitored by an industrial robot cell. Our industrial customers also benefit from a comprehensive service for the treatment/finishing of sample parts. Our application engineers, together with our customers, determine the best possible tool for the respective finishing process, thereby increasing quality and lowering process costs, so they always arrive at the finish line quickly and in line with our motto “Finish. First.”. Experienced Innovative Customer-centric We have more than 135 years experience in the production and development of tools for mechanical surface finishing. We supply our products to industry, specialist retailers and skilled craftsmen. With in excess of 100,000 custom-made tools and over 10,000 standard products, we can in fact always offer you a suitable tool for your application. And if we cannot, our application engineers will develop the right solution together with you. We have in-house Research and Development departments at all three production facilities in Germany. We are continually working on new products and are enhancing existing products in regard to quality and performance. Our global Purchasing department has a continual eye on the world markets and sources only the best raw materials for our tools. Excellent service is the core of successful collaboration.
