Cutting and grinding Cutting and grinding Cutting and grinding discs: The Metabo quality classes at a glance Cutting and grinding discs: Powerful and robust The quality of cutting and grinding discs depends on several things: The grit (size, shape and quality of the abrasive grains), determines how powerful a disc is. The right ratio of bonding, filler materials and glass reinforcement determine how long the disc will last. Metabo cutting and grinding discs are manufactured in accordance with our recipes and quality specifications so that they, in combination with our machines, achieve best working results. The powerful discs permit an optimum working result in connection with long tool life and are therefore particularly economical. The catalogue carries the relevant colour bar on the left side of the grinding disc groups' table to help selection: Specification The combination of letters and numbers is the genetic code of the grinding wheel.
