Springs and Shock Absorbers KL-0029-100 EB (Code 3294668) (Patented) KL-0029-100 EB Coil Spring Pre-Compressor, in a Foam Insert The base coil spring pre-compressor allows you to remove and install MacPherson struts in a particularly time-saving manner. For this, it is used in conjunction with the corresponding vehicle-specific upgrade kit (cf. accessory). A decisive advantage of this pre-compressor is the fact that by pre-compressing the MacPherson strut in situ on the vehicle, the strut can be removed without the need for releasing the control arm/drive shaft, upper ball joint and track rod joint. As a result, wheel alignments that might be required by the vehicle manufacturer are no longer necessary. The well-thought-out design of the tool in conjunction with the vehicle-specific upgrade kits (available separately) allow for a wide range of applications - irrespective of the shape of the springs. Substantial time savings of up to 25%, among other benefits, make this spring precompressor a rewarding investment for many years to come.
